Mental
Retardation Services
Adult Development Day Program
This program offers the opportunity to learn skills necessary for daily
living, as well as providing social interation for the participants. Case Management
services are provided, as well as transportation for the clients.
The Victory House
This
residential facility provides a home for up to seven mentally retarded adults
with around-the-clock supervision. Residents of the Victory House are able to
achieve the greatest independence possible, in a hometown environment.
It offers a dual
service to our community. Not only does it provide limited employment opportunities
for individuals from the Adult Developmental Day Program, but it also offers
the community the opportunity to purchase quality second-hand merchandise
at an extremely low cost. THE ATTIC accepts donations of used clothing and
other items and then cleans and reconditions them so that these items may
be useful once again. Contact the ATTIC for more information.
Operating
Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Early
Intervention
This home-based program is for families with developmentally delayed infants
and toddlers up to age three. Our staff will assist in providing the services
needed o achieve optimum development.
