Our mission is to promote healthy lives through a recovery based program dedicated to supporting people with serious mental illness so they may experience independent living, social opportunities, community integration, and effective life management to the best of their abilities.

The Psychosocial Day Support services at Dickenson County Behavioral Health Services is also known as the "Clubhouse."

Dickenson Clubhouse Program

The goal of our Clubhouse Program is to promote healthy lives through a recovery based program dedicated to supporting people with serious mental illness so they may experience independent living, social opportunities, community integration, and effective life management to the best of their abilities.

Program Goals:

  • To increase an individuals’ functioning to their fullest potential.
  • To prevent inpatient re-hospitalizations to a psychiatric facility.
  • To increase / enhance socialization.
  • To develop / enhance independent living skills. 
  • To teach and provide information regarding mental health and substance abuse issues.

 Eligibility:

  • Individuals diagnosed with a mental health and / or substance abuse disorder.
  • Residents of Dickenson County.
  • Adults 18 years of age or older.
  • Individuals who are motivated to enhance their socialization and independent living skills.
